MP: Municipality removes illegal construction of accused responsible for suicide of woman in Harda

A team from Harda Municipality on Wednesday demolished the illegal construction of an accused who was responsible for the suicide of a 27-year-old woman in Madhya Pradesh's Harda district.

Harda (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 11 (ANI): A team from Harda Municipality on Wednesday demolished the illegal construction of an accused who was responsible for the suicide of a 27-year-old woman in Madhya Pradesh's Harda district.
Chief Municipal Officer (CMO, Harda) Kamlesh Patidar told ANI, "We have received complaints about the house in the name of Nafeesa Bi (accused's grandmother) that there was illegal construction on it after which the municipality removed the additional constructions."
The 27-year-old girl, a resident of Harda district committed suicide by jumping before the train and left a suicide note in which she mentioned being blackmailed and harassed by one Sajid Ansari.
Itarsi GRP police station in-charge Ramsneh Chouhan said, "On October 6, at around 7:45 pm, a girl committed suicide by jumping before the train in which investigation was conducted by the Harda Police Station. In the preliminary investigation a purse, a scooter key, a mobile phone and a suicide note were recovered from the woman."
On the basis of the suicide note and the statement of the family members of the woman, a case was registered against an accused Sajid Ansari, who lives in the neighbourhood of the woman, under IPC sections 306, 376, 384 and 506 has been registered against accused Ansari, Chouhan said.
"Some facts were mentioned in the suicide note which had been told to her family. It was written that the accused Sajid Ansari had taken Rs 1.65 lakh and along with this the accused was torturing her mentally," he added.
The accused was immediately taken into custody and is being interrogated. The police were investigating the matter and further action would be taken on the basis of the facts, the officer said, adding that the accused will be produced before the court soon. (ANI)
