MP CM Mohan Yadav calls on Union Minister Piyush Goyal in New Delhi, invites for Global Investors Summit

GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.

New Delhi [India], September 11 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday called on Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal at Vanijya Bhawan in New Delhi and invited him to participate in the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025".
GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.
In a post on X, CM Yadav wrote, "Today I paid a courtesy visit to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal at Vanijya Bhavan, New Delhi. Along with informing him about the Regional Industry Conclaves being organised in the state, I invited him to participate in the Global Investors Summit."
"A fruitful discussion was held regarding investment, industry and trade in Madhya Pradesh on the occasion," he further wrote.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Goyal also posted on X about the meeting and said that discussions were held on various ongoing development works in the state under the double engine government.
"Today, I met Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav in New Delhi. During this, discussions were held on various development works going on in the state under the double engine government, including encouraging industrial clusters on Vikram Udyogpuri and Delhi-Nagpur Industrial Corridor," Goyal wrote.
"Under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, we are working to build a developed India from a developed state," he further wrote.
Notably, the Regional Industry Conclaves are being held in the state as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025".
The first event in the series of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. Later, the conclave was held in Jabalpur on July 20 and then in Gwalior last month on August 28.
Along with this, the next Regional Industry Conclave is scheduled to be held in Sagar on September 27.
Besides, Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in MP events has been held simultaneously outside the state as part of the pre-event of 'Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025'. (ANI)
