MP CM Chouhan hoists National Flag in Bhopal, makes several announcements

The chief minister further said that constable to sub-inspector level employees posted in police stations would be reimbursed the cost of 15 litres of petrol every month for travel for official work. The nutritious diet allowance for constable to inspector level officials has been increased from Rs 650 a month to Rs 1000 a month. The kit clothing allowance given to Constable and Head Constable is increased to Rs 5000 a year.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 15 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hoisted the National Flag at Lal Parade ground in the state capital on Tuesday and made various announcements on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Chouhan said, “We got Independence after the sacrifice of thousands of our revolutionary freedom fighters. We got freedom but did not get united India. We have not forgotten the pain of partition even today.”
“A historical mistake occurred at that time, the country was divided. Another mistake happened at that time, which I call a historical mistake. Our soldiers were fighting for the freedom of Kashmir, suddenly the war was stopped and later a part of Kashmir remained in Pakistan. The part of Kashmir which was in India was not allowed to unite with the country by imposing Article 370,” the CM said.
“But today I am happy to say that by abolishing Article 370 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the resolution has been fulfilled that two laws, two marks, two leaders will not work in one country. This country is not just a piece of land for us. A glorious, prosperous, and powerful India is being built under the leadership of PM Modi,” he added.
The Chief Minister also made various announcements for the formation of the Golden Madhya Pradesh.
He said that the state government resolved to increase the economy of Madhya Pradesh to Rs 45 lakh crores till 2030. Over 1 crore people would be lifted above the poverty line. The government would double the current per capita income of Rs 1.40 lakh to Rs 2.80 lakh. The total agricultural production would be increased from 7 crore metric tons to 10 crore metric tons.
Similarly, proper irrigation facilities will be made available to each farmer, therefore the irrigation capacity will be increased to 65 lakh hectares. Sufficient amount of electricity will be provided whether it is home or industry or agriculture and the energy capacity of the state will be increased from 29000 Megawatt to 38000 Megawatt for the same, the CM said.
He added, “A network of new roads of 1 lakh kilometres will be set up in the state. All district headquarters will be connected by four-lane roads whereas all urban bodies will be connected by two-lane roads. We will increase the number of medical colleges in the state and nursing colleges will be established in all government medical colleges of the state. At least a 30-bed capacity fully equipped hospital will be set up at every development block headquarters.”
The government will completely eradicate the stigma of malnutrition from Madhya Pradesh. The state government will start operating 6000 fully equipped CM Rise schools. The state government is also working to fill the vacant posts in the government schools, the chief minister said, adding that 45,000 anganwadi centres of the state will be developed as pre-primary schools.
He further said, “There will be at least one government college in each development block, so that students can get the facility of higher education near their homes. One college in each district will be upgraded as a ‘College of Excellence’. Over 1000 FPO will be constituted with an investment of Rs 200 crore in the state. Efforts will be made to increase the exports over Rs 1 lakh crore by encouraging Make in Madhya Pradesh.”
According to the vision of PM Modi, the country’s first Unity Mall will be built in Ujjain at a cost of Rs 284 crore for display and sale of handicrafts, and ODOP (One District One Product) products from all over India. 5 lakh new employment opportunities will be created in the IT sector in Madhya Pradesh. 5G service will be made available in the entire state. In Amrit Kaal, Madhya Pradesh will move ahead with the united power of Panchamrit which includes agriculture, youth, women, skill and green technology, he added.
Along with this, CM Chouhan also said, “Under Ayushman Bharat scheme, about 1.08 crore families have been made eligible in Madhya Pradesh so far. There are only a few families left. Therefore, today we decide that all the remaining families who do not pay income tax or do not get the benefit of medical facilities under any other scheme will be included in the Ayushman Bharat scheme.”

The uniform renewal grant given to Assistant Sub-Inspector to Inspector level officers in every three years has been increased from Rs 500 to Rs 2,500. Food allowance provided to police personnel engaged in law and order duty increased from Rs 70 to Rs 100 a day, he added. (ANI)
