MP: BJP nominee Ramakant Bhargav files paper for Budhni assembly by-poll in presence of CM Yadav

After the nomination, CM Yadav told reporters, "Today, BJP candidate Ramkant Bhargav filed his papers for the Budhi assembly bypoll. The nominations filed here today show that there is a wave of BJP winning with a huge majority. I am happy that not a single house would have been left which has not participated in this nomination rally."

Sehore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 25 (ANI): A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominee from Budhni assembly constituency Ramakant Bhargav filed his nomination in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday for the upcoming bypoll scheduled to be held next month on November 13.
Former CM and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP state chief VD Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.

After the nomination, CM Yadav told reporters, "Today, BJP candidate Ramakant Bhargav filed his papers for the Budhi assembly bypoll. The nominations filed here today show that there is a wave of BJP winning with a huge majority. I am happy that not a single house would have been left which has not participated in this nomination rally."
"Budhni is a place where we have been winning the seat since 1990 with our senior leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan. I am happy to say that Madhya Pradesh has made its identity in the country because of the Budhi assembly seat. I extend my wishes to Bhargava and we are hoping we will again break the record of Lok Sabha-Vidhan Sabha elections with a huge majority," he added.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told reporters, "The people of Budhni are our and BJP's family. Today we came here to file the nomination of Bhargava. In Every house in Budhni, there is a BJP's flag. There is excitement among the people. Ramakant Bhargav will emerge victorious with a historic majority. The BJP government has changed the picture of the region."
He further praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the central government was continuously making new records of development under the leadership of PM Modi and MP government under the leadership of CM Mohan Yadav.

Additionally, state chief VD Sharma said that the enthusiasm and excitement seen among people prove that the Budhni Assembly was a symbol of the development of Madhya Pradesh.
"Today, the BJP leadership arrived here for the nomination of BJP candidate Ramakant Bhargva. The enthusiasm and excitement seen in the people prove that the Budhni Assembly is a symbol of the development of Madhya Pradesh. The journey that Shivraj Singh Chouhan started in the Budhni Assembly, today is a form of a developed journey in Madhya Pradesh and in the coming time under the leadership of Mohan Yadav, our Madhya Pradesh will become Golden Madhya Pradesh. This election will be historic and we will script a history under the leadership of PM Modi," Sharma told reporters.
Notably, two assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh Vijaypur assembly seat in Sheopur district and Budhni seat in Sehore district will undergo by-poll next month on November 13.
Budhni assembly seat is the bastion of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and it got vacant as he got elected as Member of Parliament (MP) from Vidisha constituency in the recently concluded general election 2024.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), nomination papers will be filled for the by-poll from October 18 to October 25. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on October 28. Nomination papers can be withdrawn till October 30. Voting will be held on November 13 and counting of votes will be done on November 23. (ANI)
