MoS Murlidhar Mohol refers Congress as "anti-national", following Rahul's 'fighting Indian state' remark

New Delhi [India], January 17 (ANI): Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol on Thursday slammed Congress and said that their real face has come to fore and referred the party as "anti-national".
Murlidhar Mohol was responding over the statement made by Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in which he alleged that the Congress and other opposition parties were not just fighting the BJP but "the Indian state itself."
"This is the real face of Congress, it is coming out again and again that they are anti-national. Whenever Rahul Gandhi went abroad, he defamed the country. Nothing else can be expected from Rahul Gandhi. He will always say things like these and I think the people also know all this," said Mohol while speaking to reporters on Thursday.
Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at Rahul Gandhi over his remark and alleged that the Congress MP is in complete grip of the "Urban Naxal thinking process" and needs to change his "tutor".
Addressing a press conference in Delhi, BJP MP and spokesperson, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Indian state represents the "constitutional identity" of the country as a "free country".
"Rahul Gandhi yesterday said that our fight is against the Indian state. I reiterate, he needs to change his tutor... He is the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha. Do you (Rahul Gandhi) understand the meaning of the Indian state? You are saying to fight with that...The Indian state represents the constitutional identity of India as a free country," the BJP MP said.
"When you say something, do you understand that? When will you start understanding?" he questioned the Congress leader.
Further sharpening his attack on Rahul Gandhi's criticism of Sangh (RSS), Prasad said that actually RSS has done great work for society.
"He criticises the Sangh (RSS) a lot; your ancestors used to do the same. You kept on criticising, but see where RSS has reached. Look where the BJP is. Because Sangh is a nationalist organisation. It had done great works for the society," he said. "Rahul Gandhi is in the complete grip of Urban Naxals thinking process," the BJP leader added. (ANI)
