New Delhi [India], October 9 (ANI): Union Minister of State Anupriya Patel has credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Bharatiya Janata Party's victory in Haryana, calling it "miracle of PM Modi's leadership."
BJP is set to form government for the third consecutive time in Haryana after it won 48 seats in the 90-member assembly.
Speaking to ANI on Wednesday, Anupriya Patel, highlighted BJP's hattrick in Haryana and said, "BJP has scored a hat-trick of victory in Haryana and this is the first time in the history of Haryana that a party has come to power for the third consecutive time. This is the miracle of Prime Minister Modi's leadership, his policies of welfare for poor, social justice and development, this is his victory."
Apna Dal (Soneylal) chief Anupriya Patel congratulated its alliance partner BJP for their performance in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
"I congratulate BJP. Democracy has won in Jammu and Kashmir... BJP has performed well there too," she said.
Meanwhile, BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched scathing attack on Congress and Rahul Gandhi after their loss in Haryana elections.
"Every citizen of the country today feels that Rahul Gandhi as a Leader of Opposition and Congress party as the principal Opposition party is the misfortune of our country. Because the favourite pastime of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress is to attempt to destroy the credibility of every constitutional authority that they can attack. We are all shocked to see the reaction of Rahul Gandhi after the election results were declared for Haryana. He says that the results are unexpected but in J&K where the INDI Alliance, he says that it is the victory of our democracy. Why these double standards and hypocrisy?" Bhatia said.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini after he led the BJP to a historic hat-trick of victories in the Assembly elections.
"I met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini ji and congratulated and wished him for the historic victory of BJP in the assembly elections. I am confident that Haryana's role is going to become more important in the resolution of developed India," PM Modi said in a post on X. (ANI)
