New Delhi [India], October 13 (ANI): The Department of Land Resources (DoLR), operating under the Ministry of Rural Development, has embarked on the Special Campaign 3.0 with full enthusiasm and dedication.
The campaign's essence lies in fostering cleanliness and efficiency in all three of its offices, including the National Buildings Organisation (NBO) Building, Shivaji Stadium Annexe, and Central Government Offices (CGO) Complex in New Delhi, read the Ministry of Rural Development press release.

As a part of these efforts, the DoLR also observed the Swachhta Pakhwada from October 1 to October 14.
In the preparatory phase leading up to the Special Campaign 3.0, the department undertook a range of activities that included the identification of pending references, cleanliness initiatives, the disposal of redundant materials, and file reviews, read the press release.
These efforts were carried out from September 15th to September 30th, 2023, and tangible targets were established.
The inventory management process identified obsolete and unusable items, including e-waste and furniture, which are now set for disposal through e-auction, read the press release.
The Secretary for the Department of Land Resources, Ajay Tirkey, conducted review meetings at a senior officer level to ensure the effective implementation of the Special Campaign.
Tirkey, along with senior officers, visited all three department offices. He directed division heads to monitor all cleanliness activities diligently, including file reviews and weeding. Tirkey also visited the department's record room, and read the release.
The department encouraged employees to adopt sustainability practices by keeping at least one plant at their official desk and nurturing it independently. Employees were motivated to switch off power during lunch hours to conserve energy.
The Department of Land Resources established a Rejuve Wellness Centre at its Shivaji Stadium Annexe Office premises in 2021, which is used by employees for yoga and meditation as part of health and stress management.

The facility was recognized as a special achievement in the Good Governance Week organized by DAPRPG. In line with Special Campaign 3.0, the department plans to conduct a series of health lectures for employee well-being in the Centre in October 2023, read the press release.
The first lecture in the series, 'Ayurveda with a Special Focus on Preventive Healthcare,' was delivered by an Ayurvedic expert from the Ministry of AYUSH on October 6.
The campaign includes the disposal of pending references, the weeding of files, and the identification of redundant materials, including e-waste. All data are being uploaded on the SCDPM Portal of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Grievances (DARPG). Pictures and videos of Swachhata activities are being actively shared through social media channels, read the release.
The Department of Land Resources' active participation in Special Campaign 3.0 reflects the commitment to cleanliness, efficiency, and employee well-being.
