A bench of Justices R Mahadevan and Pamidighantam Sri Narasimha delivered the ruling while dismissing civil appeals filed by the Central government - Ministry of Personnel and Training (MoPT) challenging judgments which had granted relief to certain OBC candidates in the Civil Services Examination.

According to a post by BRS on 'X', KTR warned that the shortage is severely affecting hotels, eateries, hostels and small food businesses. A delegation of the association met with Karnataka Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh on Wednesday amid the reported shortage of commercial LPG cylinders. The members requested that a portion of the supply be reallocated for commercial use to ensure kitchens across the city continue functioning smoothly.
