Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Apr 13 (ANI): Union Minister Uma Bharti on Saturday claimed that several murders have been committed for “felicitating BSP chief Mayawati with the garland of currency notes” and she tolerated the murders just for the sake of money.
While slamming the BSP chief for her remark in which she said that both 'Ali' and ‘Bajrangbali’ belong to the BSP and ‘Bajaranbali’ is needed because he is a 'Dalit,' Uma Bharti said: “This time voters are not going to come in their trap. Had it been so, then SP and BSP would not have been defeated so badly in the last Lok Sabha election.”
“The voter of this country is very wise and knows that several murders have been committed for felicitating Mayawati with a garland of notes. In order to extort money for the same, several murders have been committed several times. The public will not give the vote to those who for the sake of money even tolerated such murders,” said Bharti.
Mayawati, while reacting to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remark that "if Congress, SP and BSP have faith in 'Ali,' then we have faith on 'Bajranbali," said: “Both Ali and Bajrangbali belong to us. Bajrangbali is needed because he is associated with my Dalit caste. His caste was discovered not by me but by UP CM Adityanath himself.”
Uma Bharti also said that SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav should apologise for the remarks made by SP leader Azam Khan when he allegedly referred to ‘Bajranbali’ as ‘Bajrang-Ali.’
“Insulting Bajranagbali will not harm him in any way but the devotees of Bajranbali would definitely get angry with the SP which may cause dearer to it. Akhilesh Yadav should apologise for such comments and put end to such matters,” said Bharti.
Uttar Pradesh voted for 8 parliamentary constituencies in the first phase of assembly elections on April 11. Lok Sabha elections are scheduled in Uttar Pradesh in all seven phases for its 80 seats. The counting of votes will take place on May 23. (ANI)

“Govt must clarify LPG reserves, supply timelines to public

"The government should clarify - what is the amount of reserves in our country presently, how much is left, how much can be consumed over how many days, and by when are they expecting that the LPG supply would be normalised. I believe the government is having talks; the people of this nation also need to be told about the current situation. If there is a crisis of energy, then by when the government plans to resolve it should also be clarified to the people, especially to the common man," he said.
