Patna (Bihar) [India], June 11 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) MLA Raj Kumar Rai on Tuesday denied all accusations levelled on four ministers from Bihar of partying and dancing obscenely with girls while they were on a study tour in Manipur.
"Four of us had gone to Manipur to participate in the meetings, some had even taken their families along. None of us is in the video which has gone viral, we are people who have been given responsibility to run the state by the people, we are not like this," Rai told ANI here.
Earlier, a video went viral on Monday showing four men hugging and dancing obscenely with a girl.
It was being reported that the men in the video were four ministers from Bihar who were on a study tour to Manipur.
Rai added that he had no knowledge of the incident until he saw the video. He and his colleagues took immediate action against the aides whom they recognised in the video, the Minister claimed.
"Every minister has seven-eight people who work with him, it is impossible to know each person's character. I had no knowledge of the incident till today morning but as soon as I saw the video I suspended my aide whom I recognised in the video, my colleagues have done the same," Rai said. (ANI)
