Man makes false “guns and explosives” post, alleges auto going towards G20 venue; Delhi police take action

Ahead of the G20 Summit in the national capital, a person has made a false tweet on X regarding an auto which was carrying guns and explosives towards Pragati Maidan.

New Delhi [India], September 8 (ANI): Ahead of the G20 Summit in the national capital, a person has made a false tweet on X regarding an auto which was carrying guns and explosives towards Pragati Maidan.
Kuldeep Sah named user, aged 21 years has posted rumourous tweet on X in which he said "दिल्ली पुलिस"@CellDelhi @dcpouternorth @DelhiPolice @dtptraffic This auto driver is going towards #PragatiMaidan with guns and explosives.”
Considering the sensitivity of the tweet, Police said, "police took the ownership of the concerned auto which was later found in the name of Gurmeet Singh, who is 50 year old and residing at SSN Park, Delhi".
"Upon visiting the address, a person named Harcharan Singh, the brother of Gurmeet Singh told that the auto was registered on his brother's name who is using it for carrying clothing material in the Chandni Chowk area," Police added.
Harcharan Singh further told Police that Gurmeet is having a dispute with one person namely Kuldeep Sah who resides in same street over parking.
Delhi police verified all the facts and auto was checked thoroughly, no suspicious thing was found in it.
Further, Kuldeep Sah said that he has posted the fake tweet by his twitter handle because after many warnings, the driver of the auto has parked the vehicle outside his house many times.
According to the Police, legal action has been taken in the matter. (ANI)
