New Delhi [India], May 15 (ANI): A Congress media briefing was interrupted by a man on Wednesday who had objections with the party referring to Yogi Adityanath as Aditya Singh Bisht.
Party spokesperson Pawan Khera was taken by surprise when the man walked up to the dais and said, "Calling Yogi Adityanath Ajay Singh Bisht is an insult of Indian culture. Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata ki jai."
On being probed about the motive behind entering the press conference, he said, "I'm a citizen of India and can enter into any press conference. They are calling Yogi Adityanath by his name Ajay Singh Bisht, it is against the Indian culture."
"Whoever's father or mother is a foreigner, should not contest the elections in India. It is a breach of national security," the man added.
Identified as Nachiketa, the man hails from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.
Soon after his outburst, Nachiketa was escorted out by security personnel as a few people made video recordings on their phones.
Khera continued his media address soon after. (ANI)
