Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct 4 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday arrested a man for making a hoax call about a bomb being planted in Uttar Pradesh state assembly.

Man arrested for making hoax call about bomb in UP state assembly

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct 4 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday arrested a man for making a hoax call about a bomb being planted in Uttar Pradesh state assembly.

The man, identified as Narsinh is a resident of Babra village of Shahjahanpur district.

On Sunday, Police had received an anonymous call informing about a bomb being planted in the state assembly.

However, after a thorough search of the whole premise by the dog squad and bomb disposal squad, no bomb was found.

Moreover, the number was switched off after the call was made.(ANI)
