Malegaon blast case: Accused Sameer Kulkarni granted bail

New Delhi [India], Oct 11 (ANI): Special NIA court granted bail to accused Sameer Kulkarni in connection with 2008 Malegaon blast case.

Earlier, the Bombay High Court had granted bail to other accused in the same case including Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Major Ramesh Upadhyay and former Lieutenant Colonel Shrikant Prasad Purohit.

On September 19, a National Investigation Court (NIA) court had also granted bail to Sudhakar Chaturvedi and Sudhakar Dwivedi in the case.

In September 2008, a blast at Malegaon killed six and injured 101 others. (ANI)
