Maharashtra minister Sanjay Rathod's car meets with accident in Yavatmal district
Maharashtra government cabinet minister Sanjay Rathod met with an accident on the Digras-Arni road in the early morning on Friday. Sanjay Rathod's office said that he is completely safe.

Digras (Maharashtra) [India], October 4 (ANI): Maharashtra government cabinet minister Sanjay Rathod's car met with an accident on the Digras-Arni road in the early hours of Friday, an official said adding that the minister is completely safe and escaped without any injuries.
The accident occurred around 2 am at Kopra village near Digras under the jurisdiction of the Arni police station.
The state minister of soil and water conservation in the Eknath Shinde government was going towards Yavatmal from Poharadevi in neighbouring Washim district.
"Maharashtra government cabinet minister Sanjay Rathod's vehicle met with an accident on the Digras-Arni road. The incident occurred at 2 am, minister Sanjay Rathod is completely safe," Sanjay Rathod's office said.
Rathod is a Shiv Sena politician from Yavatmal district. He is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Digras-Darwha Assembly Constituency.
In 2021 he tendered his resignation as state Forest Minister over his alleged connection with the suicide case of Tik Tok star Pooja Chavan. In 2022 July, CM Eknath Shinde said the police had given a clean chit to the former forest minister and rebel MLA (ANI)
