Narayanpur (Maharashtra) [India], September 23 (ANI): An encounter is underway between security forces and Naxals in the forests of Abujhmad, located in the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border area, according to the Narayanpur police on Monday.
Police stated that upon receiving information about the presence of Maoists in the Maad region along the Maharashtra-Narayanpur district border, security forces launched a search operation.
The encounter between the police and the Maoists has been ongoing since 4 pm on Monday, officials added.
