Maharashtra: Car drags bike for several kilometres in Nagpur, 2 injured
Two bikers were severely injured when a car hit them on Friday, according to the police. The incident took place in the Rajiv Nagar area on Wardha Road.

Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], August 18 (ANI): Two bikers were seriously injured after being hurled off their vehicle which was hit by a speeding car that then dragged the two-wheeler for a few kilometres, police said on Friday.
The incident took place in the Rajiv Nagar area on Wardha Road. An eyewitness told police that the car had dragged the bike for nearly three kilometres to the Chinchbhuvan area after the collision.
A purported video of the incident captured by commuters on the road has now been shared widely on social media.
The injured, identified as Rakesh Gate and Akash Tekam, are undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.
A case has been registered under the relevant sections of law against the unknown accused at the Sonegaon police station.
An investigation is underway and efforts are on to nab the accused.
