Jyotiraditya Scindia

On Board, Nov 23 (ANI): Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday said that the people of Madhya Pradesh will overthrow the "current corrupt and atrocious government" led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the ensuing polls.
Speaking to ANI Scindia said, "I am certain that 7.5 crore people of the state are eager to remove the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government from power. The Congress party will serve the people of the state."
Scindia who had vowed to not wear floral garlands till he pushes the BJP government out of power in Madhya Pradesh, reiterated his pledge and said, "I had pledged on June 6, 2017, the day of Mandsaur shootout, when Shivraj Singh Chouhan had killed the farmers of my Mandsaur, that I will not wear a garland of flowers till the time I overthrow the BJP government out of Madhya Pradesh."
Hitting out at the BJP over the Ram Temple issue, the Congress leader said, "They remember Lord Ram after every five years (during elections). When they are in power they do not care about anything, the moment they sense of a sign of losing power they get back to Lord Ram. This is the true face of the BJP."
When asked if he would be the party's Chief Ministerial candidate in the ensuing Assembly Elections in the State, he said, "I am a worker of Congress. The party has given me responsibility as the Election Campaign Committee Chairman and I have tried to handle that responsibility."
Jyotiraditya Scindia is not contesting the ensuing polls. The state is slated to go to polls on November 28. Counting of votes will take place on December 11. (ANI)
