Madhya Pradesh CM to inaugurate regional Industry Conclave today in Gwalior

According to an official release, prominent industrial representatives and investors have been invited to accelerate the industrial development of the Gwalior-Chambal region. Established industrial units in the region, including Jamna Auto Industries, Godrej Consumer Products, Supreme & Mandlays, Sanghvi Food, and Montage Enterprises, are set to expand their operations, bringing in approximately Rs2,260 crore in capital investment. This expansion is expected to create employment for over 4,500 people.

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 28 (ANI): Following the success of the Regional Industry Conclave held in Ujjain and Jabalpur districts of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior is all set to host the next event at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the event and hold one-on-one meetings with prominent industrialists and investors.
According to an official release, prominent industrial representatives and investors have been invited to accelerate the industrial development of the Gwalior-Chambal region. Established industrial units in the region, including Jamna Auto Industries, Godrej Consumer Products, Supreme & Mandlays, Sanghvi Food, and Montage Enterprises, are set to expand their operations, bringing in approximately Rs 2,260 crore in capital investment. This expansion is expected to create employment for over 4,500 people.
Trade commissioners and industrial representatives from half a dozen countries are going to participate in the Gwalior Conclave. These include Zambia's Secretary of Economy and Trade, Ireen Akombelwa Apuleni and Secretary of Press - Tourism, Benny Mundando, Mission Attache of Tongo, Maz Viayo Mendeli, Chief Diplomatic Agreement of Costa Rica, Sofia Salas Monge, Mexico's Economic and Commercial Affairs Officer, Ricardo Daniel, Delgardo Munoz and Kharlo Mario Quinonez, Trade Commissioner Priya of Netherlands and Ravi Tiwari of Canada.
At the Regional Industry Conclave, the exhibition sector will feature stalls showcasing industrial products. CM Yadav, along with other distinguished guests and entrepreneurs from India and abroad, will visit the exhibition. During the conclave, the Chief Minister Yadav will hold one-on-one meetings with industrialists. Round table discussions will cover topics such as the Gwalior PCB cluster, opportunities in the start-up and footwear sectors, and sectoral sessions will explore tourism opportunities, MSMEs, exports, and the "One District-One Product" initiative, stated the release.
The Regional Industry Conclaves are being held as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025".
GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.
The first event in the series of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. Later, the conclave was held in Jabalpur last month on July 20. Besides, Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in MP events has also been held simultaneously outside the state as part of the pre-event of 'Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025'.(ANI)
