Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], August 7 (ANI): Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav paid a courtesy visit to Governor of Karnataka Thaawarchand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The visit came ahead of the third interactive investment session in Bengaluru, which is being held on August 7 and 8 this year, as per a press release.
In the upcoming meeting of the investment session, Yadav will meet prominent industrialists across various sectors, including information technology (IT), information technology-enabled services (ITES), electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM), textiles, aerospace and defence, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and medical devices.
This initiative aims to promote Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and foster economic growth through strategic partnerships.
This came after an investment session held in Mumbai and Coimbatore regarding investment in Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav will also meet industrialists, highlighting the government's vision and innovations to promote investment, innovation, and sustainable development in Madhya Pradesh. There will also be MoUs in various sectors with industrialists willing to invest in the state, the statement added.
"A video film 'Advantage Madhya Pradesh' will be screened, which will give detailed information to the industrialists about the benefits and investment opportunities in the state. Experiences related to investment in Madhya Pradesh will be shared by leading industrialists. Information about other states' industrial scenarios and future development prospects will be shared," it added.
It added that CM Yadav will discuss innovations, investment, and development with industrialists.
According to an official statement, Madhya Pradesh is going to seek investments from space tech companies for the first time to take the support of new technologies and use them in the development plans in the state.
"Space technology companies provide satellite imagery and data analytics. Global monitoring and accuracy of data improve through satellites. These companies are developing the latest technology to monitor space pollution and orbital objects. These companies aim to increase security in space," the statement read.
CM Yadav will also interact with industrialists and will invite major companies in this sector to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He will also discuss the possibility of investment in Madhya Pradesh from companies like Pixxel, Digantara, Galaxeye, SatSure, and KaleidEO Sky Server. SatSure Company provides satellite imagery, which is very useful for the agricultural sector. Similarly, Pixxel builds and operates small satellites based on Earth's images, the release added. (ANI)
