Lulu Group Chairman Yusuf Ali meets CM Naidu, to invest in Andhra again

Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuf Ali met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday in a bid to renew investments once again in the southern state.

Amaravathi (Andhra Pradesh) [India], September 29 (ANI): Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuf Ali met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday in a bid to renew investments once again in the southern state.
During the meeting, the Lulu Group Chairman discussed exploring opportunities to invest in regions including Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati.
Yusuf Ali met the Chief Minister at his residence in Undavalli, during which CM Naidu discussed the avenues for investment in the state with Lulu Group.
During the meeting, discussions were held on developing a mall along with a multiplex in Visakhapatnam, as well as a hypermarket and multiplex in Vijayawada and Tirupati. The Lulu Group further expressed their interest in investing in the food processing industry within the state.
CM Naidu detailed various aspects related to investments with the Lulu Group Chairman and emphasised the state government's commitment to supporting the ease and speed of doing business in the state. The Chief Minister further appreciated Lulu Group's renewed interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister also shared details about new policies being introduced to promote investments in the state and also expressed his gratitude towards the Lulu Group Chairman for showing interest in investing in three regions of the state.
Earlier, during the tenure of the Telugu Desam Party, the Lulu Group had entered into an agreement with the government for investments in Visakhapatnam. However, the subsequent government policies led to the Lulu Group retracting its investments from the state. (ANI)
