Lt Gen Ranbir Singh briefs J&K Governor about security arrangements for Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 22 (ANI): Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Army's Northern Command, Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, on Wednesday met Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan and briefed him regarding the security arrangements in place for Amarnath Yatra this year.
The Lt. Gen also briefed the Governor about the overall security situation along the international border, LAC, LoC, and hinterland. Singh also told Malik about the operations being conducted by the Army in the state.
Shri Amarnathji Yatra is scheduled to commence on July 1 from both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes in the state. (ANI)
