Kullu: Rohtang pass receives fresh snowfall

The Union Ministry of Tourism has undertaken multiple initiatives to enhance the safety and security of tourists across the country, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, informed the Lok Sabha on Monday in a written reply.

A bomb threat mail, which was sent to the Meteorological Department Hyderabad on early Friday morning, claiming the implantation of 14 RDX Bombs at the Hyderabad IMD office, turned out to be a hoax.

The IMD staff immediately alerted the police, who swung into action. The employees were evacuated to a safe location, and the police, along with the bomb squad, conducted a thorough search of the premises, checking every room.

In the letter to Atishi, Vijendra Gupta said, "As a responsible Member of the Delhi Assembly and Leader of Opposition, it does not behove you to pass remarks and cast aspersions on a matter which is before the Committee. You should appreciate the difference between a political party and the Assembly and its Committees."
