Kulgam encounter: Civilian succumbs to injuries

Kulgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct 21 (ANI): A civilian, who got injured in an explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday has succumbed to his injuries.

Kulgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct 21 (ANI): A civilian, who got injured in an explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday has succumbed to his injuries.
Ubaid Laway, son of Mohammed Maqbool Laway of Laroo breathed his last in a Kulgam hospital.
The incident happened when some civilians rushed to the encounter site despite security personnel prohibiting them citing the search and combing operation at the spot.
Just then the explosives, laid by the terrorist, went off injuring Laway and others.
"We request civilians not to visit the site again," Jammu and Kashmir police appealed.
Three terrorists were killed after an encounter broke in Larro area of Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
Confirming the same, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh told reporters here, "The encounter concluded just now and I have been told that three terrorists were neutralised in it. The operation is being winded up. The identities (of the terrorists) are yet to be ascertained. We will shortly give out the details. There are no casualties from the police side." (ANI)
