Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 8 (ANI): KT Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, conveyed his heartfelt condolences following the passing of Ramoji Rao.
He hailed Rao Garu as a self-made personality, whose journey serves as an inspiration. Rama Rao also emphasized Rao Garu's impact on Telugu media and the entertainment world.
Taking to his official X handle, KT Rama Rao posted a picture of himself with Ramoji Rao Garu and said, "Very saddened to learn about the demise of media doyen and a true visionary, Cherukuri Ramoji Rao Garu. Ramoji Garu was a self-made man whose story is inspirational. His life and his journey is a testament to how one can achieve great success despite all odds. He has left an indelible mark in the Telugu media and entertainment world.
Meanwhile, PM-designate Narendra Modi also expressed deep grief over the demise of Ramoji Film City founder, Ramoji Rao. He emphasised Rao's impact on Indian media, recognising him as a pioneer who reshaped the media industry.
Taking to his official X handle, Modi said, "The passing away of Ramoji Rao Garu is extremely saddening. He was a visionary who revolutionised Indian media. His rich contributions have left an indelible mark on journalism and the world of films. Through his noteworthy efforts, he set new standards for innovation and excellence in the media and entertainment world."
Asserting that Ramoji Rao Garu was extremely passionate about India's development, Modi in his post further said, "I am fortunate to have got several opportunities to interact with him and benefit from his wisdom. Condolences to his family, friends and countless admirers during this difficult time. Om Shanti."
Congress' Rahul Gandhi also expressed his condolences over the demise of Ramoji Rao and said, "My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Padma Vibhushan, Ramoji Rao Garu, a pioneering figure in the Indian media industry. His contributions to journalism, cinema, and entertainment have left a lasting impact and transformed the media landscape."
He added further, "My thoughts are with his family, friends, and followers during this difficult time." (ANI)
