KSRTC extends its operations up to 7 pm

A bench of Justices R Mahadevan and Pamidighantam Sri Narasimha delivered the ruling while dismissing civil appeals filed by the Central government - Ministry of Personnel and Training (MoPT) challenging judgments which had granted relief to certain OBC candidates in the Civil Services Examination.

Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday distributed 40 electric cars to Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state in Gandhinagar to facilitate practical training in electric vehicle technology for trainees in the Motor Mechanic trade. Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express has completed two years of dedicated service to passengers of the region on 12th March 2026, marking a significant milestone in modern rail connectivity and passenger comfort.

Speaking to ANI, Gopi said that the government is closely monitoring the situation amid global disruptions in the supply of petroleum products and is taking steps to ensure that essential services remain unaffected.

Sharing the service update on X, DMRC wrote, "Service Update. Delay in train services on the Magenta Line Extension between the Majlis Park and Deepali Chowk metro stations due to a technical issue. Normal services on all other lines."

Speaking to ANI, Bharathi described his journey as remarkable and said that he chose the civil services with the aim of contributing to society, particularly at the grassroots level. He also acknowledged the role played by the Naan Mudhalvan scheme and the coaching support he received during his preparation.

The two carriers will also operate their respective scheduled services to and from Jeddah and Muscat with a total of 10 flights to and from Jeddah, and 08 scheduled flights to and from Muscat operated by Air India Express.

The new train services will collectively benefit millions of passengers across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, and Jharkhand. The occasion will also see the inauguration of three redeveloped Amrit Stations in Kerala and the dedication of the Shoranur-Nilambur Railway Line electrification project to the nation.
