Kolkata Airport was on emergency after fuel leakage from plane

Kolkata (West Bengal) Jan 6:An emergency was declared at Kolkata Airport late on Saturday following fuel leakage from an Air India plane.

Kolkata (West Bengal) Jan 6:An emergency was declared at Kolkata Airport late on Saturday following fuel leakage from an Air India plane.

The flight AI-335 had arrived from Bangkok and was destined to Delhi. However,  At around 10.35 pm, due to a suspected technical glitch, the plane had to make a precautionary landing at Kolkata airport. Later it was found that the fuel started leaking from the halted aircraft.

All passengers are said to be safe. All the passengers were later flown to Delhi through another flight.
