Kerala: Police register case over suspicious death of child in Kollam

Addressing Chief Minister MK Stalin in a post on X, Vijay, on Thursday, questioned whether the ruling party's priority lies in preserving the DMK alliance or protecting women and children in the state.

An eight-month-old infant who was allegedly kidnapped from the Khajuri Khas area in northeast Delhi was rescued by police within days, with a couple arrested in connection with the crime, officials said.

The Cabinet also approved the creation of seven new posts, including one post of Junior Division Civil Judge, for the establishment of a Civil Court in Chitrangi, Singrauli district. The approval further includes six third- and fourth-class posts for the court's administrative staff.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stated on Monday stated that "women play an invaluable role in the holistic development of the state and the nation", on the occasion of International Women's Day, while attending the "Nari Gaurav Samvad and Mata Yashoda Award Distribution" programme organised by the Women and Child Development Department.

Punjab's Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Baljit Kaur lauded the Budget presented in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, stating that it marks a historic step towards ensuring dignity and empowerment for every section of society, particularly women,the release said.
