Roorkee (Uttarakhand) [India], July 5 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday participated in a public meeting organized in Manglaur in favour of BJP candidate Kartar Singh Bhadana in the Manglaur Assembly by-election and said that Kartar Singh Bhadana resolution is to bring good governance and development in the area.
The Chief Minister said that with the blessings of the people, Kartar Singh Bhadana has pledged to serve the people.
"Till date, only two such people have ruled in the Manglaur Assembly who have always been away from service, good governance, development, and people. The previous candidates never came among the people by taking your vote. Kartar Singh Bhadana resolution is to bring good governance and development in the Manglaur Assembly. Bhadana ji has always stood with the people of the area in their happiness and sorrow for a long time," he said.

He said that in the 2022 assembly, the people of the state had broken the myth by forming the BJP government again.
"This time the people of Manglaur will again break the myth by making the lotus flower bloom in the assembly," he added.
The Chief Minister said that the government is working on priority on the construction of a bridge in Libbarheri village, Manglaur bypass, a water problem in Manglaur, a playground for youth in Manglaur, a library, an open gym and beautification work of old temples.
"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the engine of development in the country is moving forward rapidly," he said.
He said that after becoming the Prime Minister for the third time, Prime Minister Modi first signed the file related to the 17th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from the farmers.

"The Congress party has given lies, corruption and poverty to the country. Congress tries to move forward by doing politics of lies. Today the opposition is silent on EVMs. The people of the country have given an answer to the Congress and made Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third time," CM Dhami said.
The Chief Minister said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called Hindus violent in the House. Congress has always divided every class and used them as a vote bank.
"It is very important for the progress of our country that OBC SC ST become self-reliant. Modi ji has worked for the upliftment of every section after 2014. The central and state governments have taken many historic decisions for the OBC, SC, and ST societies. Many schemes have been created for their development. The BJP's Modi government has worked to preserve the memories of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar ji by building pilgrimage centres at important places associated with his life. The central government has increased the general budget for the welfare of SC, and ST classes," he added.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority to the poor in every scheme.
He said that the BJP government of Uttarakhand will work day and night for the development of SC, ST, and OBC society. This time the public is definitely going to teach a lesson to all the opposition by making the lotus flower bloom.
He said that on July 10, the public has to take a pledge to make the lotus bloom.
Voting for the assembly by-polls in the Badrinath and Manglaur seats will be held on July 10.
The Manglaur seat fell vacant after death of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Sarwat Karim Ansari. (ANI)
