Budgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], October 15 (ANI): The Budgam District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) organised a Job fair in the district.
Youth from different colleges including ITI institutions participated in the job fair held on Saturday and appeared for the spot interview process for their recruitment.
According to the officials, the purpose of the fair was to create a platform where businesses and job seekers could interact and explore potential employment opportunities.

The fair provided youth with the opportunity to meet with representatives from different companies and understand their job requirements.
This enabled them to learn about the skill sets that were in demand and the sectors where job opportunities were available, said officials.

Additionally, it offered an opportunity for the companies to identify potential candidates and recruit suitable individuals for their vacant positions.
The fair showcased a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, services, hospitality, retail, and more.
Participating companies conducted interviews, collected resumes, and discussed job requirements with the interested candidates.
Job seekers had the chance to showcase their skills and experience, and companies could assess the candidate's suitability for their roles.
DE&CC Budgam actively supported the fair by coordinating and organizing the event. They provided the necessary infrastructure and logistics support to ensure the smooth conduct of the fair.
According to the officials, this initiative aimed to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, emphasizing the importance of skill development and employment opportunities. (ANI)
