Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) [India], April 8 (ANI): Authorities have deployed police to maintain peace and installed CCTV cameras along the route of the Yatra in view of the Ram Navami procession in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh, an official said on Monday evening. The Yatra is being continuously monitored to maintain law and order.

Nancy Sahay, Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh, told ANI, "All preparations have been made. 145 CCTV cameras have been installed on the route from which this yatra will pass... We are continuously monitoring the yatra..." The deployment aims to maintain peace, given the area's history of tensions during such events.

Visuals showed the Ram Navami procession being taken out in Hazaribagh amid police deployment at Jhanda Chawk and near Jama Masjid.
The two-day Ram Navami celebration at Hazaribagh takes place on the Dashmi (10th day of Navratri)

On March 26, a scuffle and mild stone pelting took place between two groups during Mangla Julus (procession) as part of the Ram Navami celebration at Jhanda Chowk of Jharkhand's Hazaribagh, as per officials.
Nancy Sahay, Deputy Commissioner, Hazaribagh, earlier said, "One group was playing some songs during the procession, which was objected to by the second group, resulting in a scuffle and stone pelting. But it did not escalate as the forces deployed there took control of the situation. As of now, the situation is peaceful and under control".
Earlier on February 26, a scuffle broke out in Hazaribagh's Ichak area over the use of a sound system. The situation escalated into stone pelting, but authorities quickly stepped in. (ANI)
