Jharkhand: 5 killed, 7 injured in car-truck collision

Latehar (Jharkhand) [India] Feb 2 (ANI): At least five people were killed and seven others injured after a car they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck on Friday in Jharkhand's Latehar area.

Jharkhand: 5 killed, 7 injured in car-truck collision

Latehar (Jharkhand) [India] Feb 2 (ANI): At least five people were killed and seven others injured after a car they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck on Friday in Jharkhand's Latehar area.

The speeding car lost its control and collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The family in the car was travelling to Asanapani from Daltanganj to attend a wedding.

All the injured were initially admitted to Ghaylo Kudu Hospital. Later, they were referred to Ranchi Rims for better treatment.

The deceased are yet to be identified.

On getting information of the accident, the Kudu police rushed to the spot.

A case has been registered in this connection. (ANI)
