JEE, NEET exams will be held as scheduled: NTA

The Court noted that under Clause 2.3 of the NBEMS handbook, only candidates currently pursuing a postgraduate course are barred from admission to Sponsored Post MBBS DNB seats. Since the petitioner had already relinquished her previously allotted seat and was not pursuing any PG course, the Court observed that the clause prima facie appeared inapplicable to her case.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), with 12 candidates securing a perfect 100 NTA score (percentile). The exam recorded an overall attendance of 96.26 per cent.

Speaking to the media, he said, "No one's sister or daughter is safe. The Home Minister gives long speeches. You've got a good position, use it. Eliminate all the criminals."
