Jammu: Schools and colleges to open today

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Nov 11 (ANI): All schools and colleges in Jammu will open from Monday, informed Divisional Commissioner Jammu.

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Nov 11 (ANI): All schools and colleges in Jammu will open from Monday, informed Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
Schools, colleges and other educational institutions were closed in Jammu and Kashmir and some other states on Saturday when Supreme Court pronounced Ayodhya verdict.
"All schools and colleges will remain open from tomorrow. Schools and colleges were closed on Saturday on occasion of Ayodhya verdict," read a statement from Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
Schools, colleges and other educational institutions were closed in Jammu and Kashmir and some other states ahead of Supreme Court verdict in the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration also imposed Section 144 till midnight and school examinations scheduled for Saturday was postponed.
Schools, colleges and other educational institutions were also closed in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. (ANI)
