J-K: Three arrested in connection with firing incident at Miran Sahib

The police said that the arrested accused have been identified as Guga, Krrish and Kulbir Bhagat.

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], April 29 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested three people in connection with the firing incident at Khajuria Food Mall, Miran Sahib in Jammu and recovered live cartridge.
According to the police, on Saturday evening, local miscreants fired upon Khajuria Food Mall, Miran Sahib and also asked for a ransom amount. After this incident, miscreants repeated the episode in Chohalla, RS Pura.
The police said that the arrested accused have been identified as Guga, Krrish and Kulbir Bhagat.
"In this regard, the cognizance was taken by the police and case FIR No. 44/307 336 34 IPC, and 3/25, 3/27 Arms Act was registered in PS Miran Sahib and a Case FIR No 74/2024 U/S 452/307/34, IPC & 3/25, 3/27 Arms Act was registered in PS RS Pura," they added.
Thereafter, police teams were formed which raided various places in the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib and RS Pura police stations based upon the developed human intelligence and technical surveillance, which was kept on these miscreants.
The police further informed that during the investigation, CCTV footage from the place of occurrence and adjacent areas were also collected and analysed.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed their involvement in the firing incident, demanding ransom and committing the crime.
It is pertinent to mention accused Guga and Kulbir Bhagat are also involved in other cases. (ANI)
