J-K: Police intensifies drive against drug peddlers in Pulwama

Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Sept. 26 (ANI): Intensifying its drive against drug peddlers in the Jammu and Kashmir, the Pulwama Police on Tuesday conducted raids at various locations in district and arrested one in connection.

J-K: Police intensifies drive against drug peddlers in Pulwama

Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Sept. 26 (ANI): Intensifying its drive against drug peddlers in the Jammu and Kashmir, the Pulwama Police on Tuesday conducted raids at various locations in district and arrested one in connection.

They also recovered huge quantity of contraband substances from the residence of the apprehended persons.

The raids were conducted in Pulwama district including Gulshan Abad, Shaltakiya, Rehmoo, Kulpora, Wahipora, Arihal, Deeri, Dangerpora villages.

The arrested drug peddler identified as Tariq Ahmad Teli was arrested with 4 kilograms of charas powder.

The police have recovered huge quantity of contraband substances from the resident of other drug peddlers identified as Mohammad Ahsan Sheikh, Mohammad Jabar Sheikh, Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani, Abdul Ahad Wani, Rayees Ahmad Mir.

The police have filed an FIR in Rajpora Police Station against other drug peddlers, who are on run and have also initiated a massive manhunt to nab them. (ANI)
