J-K: "Meet the Eminent" event hosts noted author Deepak Kanwal

Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages on Saturday hosted a prestigious event titled "Meet the Eminent", drawing together a gathering of literary enthusiasts, writers, and admirers. The spotlight of the occasion was a special session featuring the distinguished author and fiction writer of Jammu and Kashmir, Deepak Kanwal.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], August 19 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages on Saturday hosted a prestigious event titled "Meet the Eminent", drawing together a gathering of literary enthusiasts, writers, and admirers. The spotlight of the occasion was a special session featuring the distinguished author and fiction writer of Jammu and Kashmir, Deepak Kanwal.
Under the patronage of Nazir Malik, former Head of the Urdu Department at Kashmir University, the ceremony unfolded in an atmosphere charged with intellectual curiosity and artistic appreciation. Notable figures in the realm of literature and culture, including renowned writer and poet  Muhammad Zaman Azaruda, esteemed writer and physician  Nazir Mushtaq, Academy's Kashmir Division in-charges,  Farooq Anwar Mirza and Muhammad Saleem Salik were also present in presedium. 
The event, a congregation of creative minds and literary luminaries, witnessed fervent participation from numerous prominent writers hailing from the valley. Amidst the proceedings, a distinctive highlight was the paper presentation by the young and promising writer Rafia Wali. Her presentation delved into the multifaceted persona of Deepak Kanwal, offering insights into the author's creative journey and literary impact.
The pinnacle of the event, however, lay in the interactive session with Deepak Kanwal himself. The audience, comprised of avid readers and ardent followers of his work, seized the opportunity to engage the celebrated author with a barrage of questions. Kanwal, known for his eloquence, offered insightful and satisfactory answers, leaving the audience enriched and inspired.
Reflecting on the event, Deepak Kanwal shared, "It's a privilege to be part of an event that celebrates literature, dialogue, and the exchange of ideas. Platforms like 'Meet the Eminent' bridge the gap between writers and readers, fostering an environment where literary voices can be heard and understood."
 Nazir Malik, the event's presiding authority, echoed similar sentiments: "Literature serves as a cornerstone of our culture, and events like these not only honour the writers who shape our literary landscape but also inspire the upcoming generation to delve into the world of words and imagination."
