Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], August 14 (ANI): In a symphony of reverence and remembrance, the resplendent Zabarwan Park played host to 'Jashn-e-Azadi,' a soul-stirring musical homage orchestrated by the Department of Information and Public Relations on Monday.
Gracing the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha eloquently unfurled the saga of Jammu and Kashmir's transformative odyssey, a saga intricately woven with the valor of freedom fighters and the indomitable spirit of those sacrificed their lives for the nation.
In his impassioned address, Lt Governor Sinha commemorated the unyielding dedication of those who had championed the cause of liberty.
"The echoes of history resound louder than ever," he declared, as he paid heartfelt tribute to the gallant Freedom Fighters and the dauntless custodians of peace, the J&K Police and Security Forces.
The Lt Governor's words resonated with a profound sense of awe for the extraordinary metamorphosis witnessed by the region since August 2019.

"The canvas of progress has been painted anew," he mused, reflecting on the paradigm shift in development that once appeared beyond the realm of imagination. "The heart swells with a devotion unparalleled—love for the motherland," the Lt Governor proclaimed.
He marveled at the overwhelming participation of J&K citizens in initiatives like the Tiranga Yatra, Har Ghar Tiranga, and Meri Maati Mera Desh, testament to a pure and unwavering commitment to the tapestry of nation-building.
Under the unwavering stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, J&K embarked on an epochal journey of inclusivity and equitable growth.
"Peace, unity, and camaraderie have kindled aspirations," the Lt Governor emphasized, speaking of the invaluable fortitude and self-assurance instilled within the populace.

Amidst an atmosphere charged with patriotic zeal, Lt Governor Sinha reaffirmed the UT Administration's unflinching resolve to uplift all segments of society.
"Our dedication echoes through policies that uplift the marginalized," he asserted.
The pursuit of progress transcended boundaries, touching the lives of youth, farmers, women, and previously overlooked areas.
"Our present shines bright with promise, and our future is one of prosperity," the Lt Governor's words brimmed with optimism.
A clarion call resounded, urging the people of J&K to embark on a resolute quest to realize the visionary dream of 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047, an ode to the PM Modi's vision.
The event bore witness to the enrapturing artistry of renowned artists from J&K, who wove a tapestry of patriotic fervor through their performances. The canvas of progress unfurled further through a mesmerizing laser show, capturing the unprecedented development etched across J&K's diverse sectors.
Many dignitaries including Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, Kashmir ADGP Vijay Kumar, Information Department Secretary Prerna Puri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Information Department Director Minga Sherpa along with an assemblage of senior officials from the UT and Police Administration.
