J-K: 2 terrorists killed in Baramulla

The Baramulla Police Media Cell issued a formal advisory on Sunday, cautioning against "rumour-mongering" and the circulation of unverified or malicious content that could disturb public order and urged media houses, journalists, social media users, and the public to exercise caution while reporting and sharing information.

Abdul Rashid Sheikh, alias Engineer Rashid, is an accused in a case linked to the conspiracy of stone pelting in Jammu and Kashmir. He has been in custody since August 2019. This case was lodged by the NIA in 2017.

Children also participated in the march held on Saturday to express solidarity and remembrance of the fallen soldiers who lost their lives in the attack.

Shia locals took to the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway in the Hanjiwera area of Baramulla district to protest against the suicide bombing at a Shia mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, in which several members of the Shia community were killed. The protestors marched while sloganeering "Pakistan Murdabad."

After preparation of DPR, sanctioning of the project requires consultation with various stake-holders including State Governments and necessary approvals, viz., appraisal of NITI Aayog, Ministry of Finance, etc. As sanctioning of projects is a continuous and dynamic process, exact timelines cannot be fixed.
