Majuli (Assam) [India], December 29 (ANI): RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said that our country is one and it is necessary that our society gets together and solves its problems in unison.
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat was speaking at the "Poorvottar Sant Manikanchan Sammelan - 2023" held in the North Kamla Bari Satra of Majuli, Assam.
"Our country is one. There are various communities. But what we call 'Dharma' is the same for everyone. It is humanity, it is 'Sanatana Dharma'. It is necessary that our society gets together and solves their problems in unison..." said RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.
"The 'sanskruti' of Bharat is reflected through "Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti" (Truth is one but it's revealed by intellectuals differently). This all-inclusive tradition exists only in Bharat" the RSS Chief added.
A total number of 104 spiritual leaders belonging to 48 Satras of Assam and 37 different religious institutions and sects from all over the Northeastern states were present at the "Poorvottar Sant Manikanchan Sammelan - 2023". Issues faced by people of the Northeastern region of Bharat and the different sects operating in it were discussed.
Earlier, addressing people after inaugurating the 'Divine Spiritual Festival' at Shri Harihar Ashram, Haridwar, the RSS chief said 'Sanatana' is eternal.
"Sanatana was there, is there and will remain forever. The one that remains is Sanatana," Bhagwat said.
RSS Chief said all 'sampradayas' in Bharatiya traditions 'purify' an individual.
"All sampradayas in Bharatiya traditions lead to one thing, they purify you. We have to reach out. There are so many Hindus we have not yet reached out to. Ours will not be a movement or an agitation. We are not a group that is very powerful in the Hindu society. Ours is (a) group that will organise and expand the whole of the Hindu society. We have to go everywhere and reach out to one and all. One may agree on some things and disagree on some. But we have to connect everybody," the RSS chief said. (ANI)
