Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday distributed 40 electric cars to Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state in Gandhinagar to facilitate practical training in electric vehicle technology for trainees in the Motor Mechanic trade. During the event, the Chief Minister also inaugurated 50 Dhanvantari Arogya Rath and six Mobile Medical Vans to provide doorstep primary healthcare services to construction workers and labourers.

The Ministry of Railways has implemented a multi-pronged strategy to enhance freight efficiency, ensure seamless regional connectivity, and provide robust first-and-last-mile solutions. Key initiatives include the launch of the 'Rail Parcel' app-based logistics platform on a pilot basis, the expansion of the Joint Parcel Product - Rapid Cargo Service (JPP-RCS), and significant investment in terminal infrastructure across the country.

Vijayan said there is no anti-incumbency in the state, adding that the people hold a positive view of the government and its policies and believe only the current administration can take Kerala forward.

In an 'X' post, TMC said the government has "ek hi naara, line mein rahe desh bechara," pointing to past governmental measures including demonetisation, the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the Special Identification Registration (SIR), and now the LPG shortage. The party described demonetisation as a "Tughlaqi farman" that forced ordinary citizens to wait in serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs for days to access their own money. The post also highlighted the 2020 COVID-19 oxygen crisis, when families stood in long lines outside hospitals and suppliers as the public health system collapsed.

"No funds have been given under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Money has also not been allocated for the education sector, and even for the MGNREGA scheme. The people of Tamil Nadu are well aware of the lack of financial support from the Centre," he said.

The pioneering work has been carried out by the Centre of IVF and Human Reproduction in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology and Research at the hospital.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday expressed concern over the shortage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) amid the situation in West Asia, asking the Centre to start preparing and change the mindset.

Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Thursday sought a parliamentary debate on the reported shortage of commercial LPG cylinders, questioning the import dependence and lack of storage facilities.

"The PM's rhetoric in Kerala is far from the reality that the country is facing. The war has reached every kitchen in this country. Restaurants are closing due to a shortage. This is affecting every sector. The assurance of the govt was that there was ample stock. Today, there is an actual crisis because of the negligence of this govt. One crore Indians are in Gulf countries, and we are concerned about their safety and livelihood. War has created hardship for them. We want the government to take proactive measures," he told ANI.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Sudhakar Singh on Wednesday warned of worsening LPG shortage, accusing the government of hiding facts and citing failures in foreign policy.
