ISKCON temple in Udhampur wears festive look, decorated with flowers for Janmashtami 

ISKCON temple commonly known as Hare Krishna Hare Rama Temple Udhampur on Wednesday was decked up to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami with religious fervour, pomp and fanfare.

Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 6 (ANI): ISKCON temple commonly known as Hare Krishna Hare Rama Temple in Udhampur on Wednesday was decked up to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami with religious fervour, pomp and fanfare.
The temple was decorated with lights as well as flowers. Devotees thronged the ISKCON Lord Krishna Temple in Udhampur to offer prayers.
Sewadaar ISKCON Temple Udhampur said on the Eve of Shri Krishna Janmashtami  ISKCON Temple was fully decorated and fresh flowers and decorated with colourful lights .flowers were imported from south India to the decorate Temple. He also added that the clothes of Shri Krishna and Radha were imported from Vrindavan.
Meanwhile, Janmashtami celebrations brightened up Udhampur city with thousands of people joining the Shobha Yatra procession with kids dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha on Wednesday, to the accompaniment of bhajans and tableaux depicting mythical characters.
A large number of children draped in Lord Krishna’s attire participated in the colourful procession organised by Sanatan Sabha Udhampur.
Various floats made by various institutes and religious organisations highlighting lord Krishna's life are the main attractions of the Yatra.
Shobha-Yatra starts from Ram Temple Chowk Chabutra Udhampur & after passing through various bazaars of Udhampur culminates at the same palace.
A Large number of People also Participated in said Shobha yatra. A large number of People gathered on the roadside to glimpses of the Impressive Shoba Yatra. (ANI)
