INX Media case: CBI to produce Peter Mukerjea before Delhi Court

Telangana Jagruthi President K Kavitha received a notice by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor scam case.

AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami denied holding alliance talks with actor-politician Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), stating that no such discussions have taken place and the media is spreading speculation.

A representation has been moved before the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court seeking transfer of a criminal revision petition linked to the excise policy case from the bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma to another appropriate bench.

"Telangana Speaker was under immense pressure to take this decision. Rahul Gandhi is a joke of a leader. On one hand, he flaunts the constitution of India and continues to portray himself as the saviour of the constitution of India, and he also talks about defections and how automatic disqualification should be done," he told the media.

Piyush Goyal, while talking to the media, said, "NDA is going to sweep the next election, removing the corrupt Stalin government. The people of Tamil Nadu will never accept Udhayanidhi Stalin as their Chief Minister, and this is the contest to save Tamil pride, culture and people from the corrupt practices of the Stalin family."
