International Gita Mahotsav at Kurukshetra from Dec 7 to 23

Chandigarh (Haryana), [India], Dec 4 (ANI): Haryana's prestigious International Gita Mahotsav-2018 will be organised from December 7 to 23 in Kurukshetra. Artists and artisans of national and international repute will participate in the International Crafts and Saras Mela, which will simultaneously be organised from December 7-23.

Chandigarh (Haryana), [India], Dec 4 (ANI): Haryana's prestigious International Gita Mahotsav-2018 will be organised from December 7 to 23 in Kurukshetra. Artists and artisans of national and international repute will participate in the International Crafts and Saras Mela, which will simultaneously be organised from December 7-23.
An official spokesman of the Haryana government said that this year, Mauritius would be the partner country and Gujarat would be the partner state in the celebrations of the festival. The Mahotsav is an annual event which is organised every year in collaboration with the Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB) in Kurukshetra.
The spokesperson said that the main events would be organised from December 13 to 18. The major attractions will include international Gita seminar from December 13-15, while Sant Sammelan would be organised on December 16 in which renowned saints from the country and abroad would participate. The complete recital of Srimad Bhagwad Gita by devotees is scheduled for December 17, while grand 'Maha Aarti' and 'Deepdan' would be held on December 18. (ANI)
