"Interim budget to provide pace to building 'Atma-Nirbhar' India," says UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday that the interim budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is a budget for the development of the country. "Under the guidance of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the interim budget presented in the Lok Sabha will provide a pace for building a developed and an 'Atma-Nirbhar' India," said Yogi Adityanath.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 1 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday that the interim budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is a budget for the development of the country.
"Under the guidance of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the interim budget presented in the Lok Sabha will provide a pace for building a developed and an 'Atma-Nirbhar' India," said Yogi Adityanath.
Hailing the interim budget, the UP CM extended greetings to the Finance Minister for presenting a budget that will fulfil the aspirations and expectations of 140 Indian citizens.
"This interim budget will prove to be important for the development of every section, including the poor, farmers, and youth," said Yogi Adityanath.
He lauded the interim budget for being women-friendly, saying, "To achieve the objective of women's empowerment, the beneficiary limit of the 'Lakhpati didi' scheme has been increased from 2 crore to 3 crore. Bringing Asha female workers under the ambit of Ayushman Bharat is welcoming."
The UP CM highlighted that the budget will achieve the objective of providing a residence for all, adding, "The government has decided to construct 2 crore houses in rural areas. This will ensure pucca houses for the poor."
He further emphasised the government's push for railway infrastructure in the interim budget, saying, "The decision to get three new rail corridors and 40,000 rail carriages to be converted into Vande Bharat will not only strengthen rail infrastructure but will also give a boost to industrialization in the country. "
Yogi Adityanath thanked Prime Minister Modi for the interim budget and said that it will give a boost to the defence, agriculture, industry, power, education and health sectors.
"The interim budget will serve 140 crore people and pave the way to making Nyay Bharat a $5 trillion economy," concluded Yogi Adityanath. (ANI)
