India ready for any situation: Rathore on Pak polls

New Delhi [India], July 26 (ANI): In the backdrop of Pakistan poll outcome, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Rathore on Thursday said India is ready to deal with every situation.

New Delhi [India], July 26 (ANI): In the backdrop of Pakistan poll outcome, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Rathore on Thursday said India is ready to deal with every situation.
Rathore told ANI, that the External Affairs Ministry, keeping in mind the situation, has always proposed cordial relations with Pakistan.
The comment came at a time Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party is leading in 117 seats.
"Whatever the situation is there in the neighborhood, India is ready for that. We have protected India and will continue to do so in future as well," Rathore said.
"External Affairs Ministry, keeping in mind the situation, has always proposed cordial relations with Pakistan. We are ready otherwise, as well," he added.
Meanwhile, reflecting on Imran Khan's lead in the elections, Congress leader and former Foreign Minister Shashi Tharoor had said that the Indo-Pak relations would not witness turbulent times with PTI's victory. (ANI)
