"India now gets deserved respect worldwide": Sri Sri Ravi Shankar lauds PM Modi's leadership

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 12 (ANI): In the Viksit Bharat ambassador programme held in Mumbai on Friday, the spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing admiration for his dedication and vision for India's progress.
During the event, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar highlighted the positive transformation he witnessed in India over the past decade, emphasizing the revival of pride in the nation's rich cultural heritage and traditions.
He remarked, "In the last ten years, we have started taking pride in our rich culture and traditions. Under the leadership of PM Modi, India now gets the deserved respect worldwide."
Speaking on PM Modi's leadership qualities, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar acknowledged his understanding of the concerns of the people, the country's ethnicity, and its global position. He stated, "India needed such a person who understands the concern of the people, understands the ethnicity of the country and understands the world."
Furthermore, he praised PM Modi's commitment to significant projects, such as the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, completed in record time.
"PM Narendra Modi's relentless dedication has been evident in significant projects like the construction of Ram Mandir, completed in record time... He took his time out and was attentive to every detail," remarked Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Encouraging citizen participation in the democratic process, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar emphasized the importance of voting during elections. He urged citizens to consider elections as festivals and to involve everyone in the voting process.
"As a citizen, it is our duty and responsibility to cast our vote during the elections. Consider elections like festivals, involve everyone. Even the ones not willing to cast the votes, appeal them to vote," he said.
The Viksit Bharat Ambassador event, featuring 'music and meditation,' saw the presence of distinguished individuals such as Union Minister Piyush Goyal, renowned singer Sonu Nigam, BJP leader Hitesh Jain, and several others.
Notably, under the aegis of the Viksit Bharat Ambassador Program, 25+ events have been hosted nationally in various states and cities.
While addressing the event, Union Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized India's transformation over the past decade, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for steering the nation toward progress.
"India is entering a new phase. In the last 10 years, the direction and situation of the nation have changed for good. Earlier, India was a weak nation. In the past 10 years, PM Narendra Modi has tried to change the lives of everyone. He has given new wings to the economy and gave strength to our beliefs. Now, India is looked upon with respect under PM Modi's leadership," Goyal said.
"Currently, many nations admire India, and we have collectively pledged to become 'Viksit Bharat Ambassadors,' dedicated to elevating our country to new levels during this era of 'Amrit Kaal", Goyal asserted. (ANI)
