Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], April 26 (ANI): Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Saturday attended the Rozgar Mela in Visakhapatnam and said that India is one of the best countries in the world in terms of utilising the youth energy.
Speaking to ANI, the Union Minister expressed his happiness over attending the Rozgar Mela in Visakhapatnam and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the initiative.
"Today, I am delighted to be participating in the Rozgar Mela, organised by the central government, in Visakhapatnam. Almost 250 people have taken an appointment letter in different central government departments, and this is a great initiative by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who wants to inspire the youth to connect to the Viksit Bharat 2047 goal," Naidu said.
He further said that earlier, the whole process of recruiting used to take four years but now under the leadership of PM Modi it has come down to within 1 year.
"Today, India is one of the best countries in the world in terms of utilising the youth energy. In the process of nation-building and contributing to society, India has great potential among its youth. By aligning the youth with the common goal of nation-building and serving the nation with passion and contribution, India can further enhance its potential. Additionally, we combine our resources to achieve the progress we always plan to make. I'm also seeing the energy from the youngsters. They're very excited to step into these new jobs, especially since it has been their dream, and most of the people in the centre from Visakhapatnam come from very rural backgrounds, very lower middle class backgrounds, where there is a lot of struggle for them to achieve this kind of position in the central government. But they are very excited. They are very aspirational, and the whole process of Rozgar Mela, what used to take like 4 years to get a job in the central government right from the initial stages of examination to getting the appointment letter with the direction and the guidance of our honourable Prime Minister, it has come down to within 1 year," he added.
The Union Minister stated that this is a collective effort in nation-building, and each and every one must give their 100 per cent best efforts.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to youth appointed in various government departments under Rozgar Mela.
Prime Minister Modi emphasised the role of the youth in strengthening the country's economic system and internal security, developing modern infrastructure, and enhancing the lives of labourers.
He urged the newly appointed youth to work with honesty to support India's progress towards becoming a "Viksit Bharat".
"Today, letters of permanent government jobs have been given to more than 51 thousand youth in various departments of the Central Government. Today, new responsibilities for our youth have begun in different departments of the Government of India. Your responsibility is to strengthen the country's economic system; your responsibility is to strengthen the country's internal security; your responsibility is to build modern infrastructure in the country; your responsibility is to bring fundamental changes in the lives of labourers. The more honest you are with your work, the more it will support India's journey of Viksit Bharat," PM Modi said.
Rozgar Mela is a step to provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their participation in nation-building and self-empowerment. (ANI)
