Independence Day 2023: Take a look at how various chief ministers marked the ocassion

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag today as the nation marks its 77th Independence Day, Chief Minister of different states also hoisted the national flag in their respective states.

New Delhi [India], August 15 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning hoisted the national flag from the ramparts of the iconic Red Fort as the nation marked its 77th Independence Day.
Chief Ministers of different states also hoisted the national flag in their respective states.
While Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the Tiranga at his residence at 5 Kalidas Marg in Lucknow this morning, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar participated in the Independence Day celebrations at Gandhi Maidan in Patna today.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin hoisted the Tiranga at the State Secretariat in Chennai while Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot hoisted the national flag at his residence in Jaipur.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand, which is witnessing massive damages following heavy rainfall, hoisted the Tiranga at his residence in Dehradun.

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar hoisted the Tiranga at Independence Day celebrations in Fatehabad. Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant hoisted the tricolour in front of Old Secretariat in Panaji. 

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel also hoisted the tricolour at their respective states.


Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal hoisted the Tiranga and participated in the Independence Day celebrations at the Chhatrasal Stadium.
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in celebrations in Bhopal.
Jammu & Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha hoists national flag in Srinagar on 77th Independence Day

In Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh hoisted the Tiranga at First Manipur Rifle Ground and participated in Independence Day celebrations.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik hoisted the Tiranga and addressed the people of the state, on Independence Day.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan hoisted the national flag during the state level celebration.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao participated in the 77th Independence Day celebrations and hoisted the national flag.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde hoisted the Tiranga and participated in #IndependenceDay celebrations at the Mantralaya in Mumbai. 

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel hoisted the national flag during the state level celebration of 77th Independence Day at Dhamdachi in Valsad district.

Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren hoisted the national flag at the state ceremony organized at Morhabadi Maidan, Ranchi, and wished everyone a happy Independence Day.

Tripura CM Manik Saha hoisted the National Flag at his official residence and conveyed greetings to the people of  state on the occasion.

Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio hoisted the Tricolor at the CM's residential complex on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah hoisted the flag as part of the 77th Independence Day celebrations at the Field Marshal Manik Shah Parade Ground in Bengaluru and wished the people of the country. (ANI)
