IAF Chief presides over Maintenance Command Conclave in Nagpur

Maintenance Command Commanders Conclave is being held at Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur from 30-31 August 2024. The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari presided over the Conference on Friday. He was received by Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command. The CAS was presented with a Ceremonial Guard of Honour.

Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], August 30 (ANI): Maintenance Command Commanders Conclave is being held at Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur from 30-31 August 2024. The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari presided over the Conference on Friday. He was received by Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command. The CAS was presented with a Ceremonial Guard of Honour.

The conclave provided a platform for a comprehensive review of the command's enhanced capabilities through indigenisation. The CAS commended the Maintenance Command for outstanding efforts towards indigenisation and its alignment with the "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiative.
In his address, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari highlighted the evolving geopolitical landscape and the associated operational challenges. He urged commanders to embrace a forward-thinking mindset, integrate advanced technologies, and maximise the effectiveness of available resources. The importance of training was underscored, with a focus towards developing a versatile and highly skilled workforce. The CAS also stressed on all personnel for active participation towards nation-building.
The event concluded with Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari interacting with officers, airmen, civilians, and Defence Security Corps personnel, impressing them for professional excellence and contributing effectively towards capability enhancement. (ANI)
